Serra Club Features Calgary Seminarian Samuel O’Ejeregbe.

Samuel is an English lawyer by profession with a Scholarship in post-graduate studies in Financial Services Law from England, United Kingdom. He holds a Master's degree in Divinity from the University of St. Michael’s, Toronto, Ontario. Samuel is currently serving the Lord as a Seminarian for the Diocese of Calgary and he is on a Pastoral Internship at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Calgary, Alberta. 

                          

Dear Friends, 

 

I would like to invite you personally to the Serra Club's first gathering of 2023! On Jan. 21 we will be meeting at St. Mary's Cathedral for Mass at 9 am followed by a presentation in St. Mary's hall, from our guest speaker and Serra Club Vocations VP, Samuel O'Ejeregbe. 


All are welcome in person or over Google Meet. Please see the GM details above. Light refreshments will be provided. Please invite your children, friends, and family - let's support our seminarians and cultivate the call. 

 

We entrust this work to Mary Mother of God and ask you to join us in praying to the Lord of the Harvest for all vocations.

Serra Club of the Diocese of Calgary

 

Serra Club was founded in 2022, in Calgary at the request of Most Reverend Bishop William McGrattan to cultivate vocations, providing prayer, and awareness of support for vocations, as well as our seminarians, priests, sisters, and Religious. Objectives include: 

  • Re-ignite enthusiasm for fostering vocations throughout the diocese

  • Establish coordination with parishes and schools 

  • Focus on the most effective ways to raise vocation awareness and to reach youth and young adults

  • Provide support for parish events, communications, planning, for vocations awareness

  • Provide parishes and schools with access to high-quality resources,  digital and print communication
