The Love of Christ Impels Us
2 COR 5:14
Regnum Christi Calgary
The Regnum Christi Movement with the Legionaries of Christ was established in Canada with the opening of the novitiate and apostolic school in Cornwall, Ontario in 1995. Local members of Regnum Christi founded Clear Water Academy, in Calgary, Alberta in 1994 with the school opening its doors to the first students and their families on September 8, 1995. Since then, Legionary priests working with other Regnum Christi members have founded and implemented programs to assist the Church in Calgary and Western Canada. These programs educate, evangelize, and prepare youth, adults, and families for joy-filled lives of mission, service, and vocation through excellent and intentional integral formation.

The Five Dimensions of RC
Get To Know Us
We are a movement for apostolate, a movement for evangelization. A movement in which each member has decided to take seriously and responsibly the great missionary commandment that Christ gave to all those who call ourselves his followers. The Legionaries of Christ and Regnum Christi members want to preach the Gospel fearlessly throughout the world, supported by the omnipotence of God and by the word of Christ who said:
“I will be with you until the end of the world.”
Legionaries Of Christ
By their religious profession, Legionaries commit themselves to imitate and follow Christ in poverty, chastity, and obedience. They dedicate themselves totally to God, who is their supreme love, and for love of him, they are fully available to serve wherever and however God asks of them through obedience.
RC Lay Members
Regnum Christi members are ordinary Catholics who are not satisfied with seeing a need and turning away. They seek to strengthen their relationship with God, strengthen one another in exquisite charity, and to bring the joyful blessing of God’s love to all!
Consecrated life in Regnum Christi is a new lifestyle in response to Christ’s call to his chosen ones: “Come and follow me.” The life of a consecrated man or woman is imbued with the experience of the personal, real, passionate and faithful love of Christ.
